Decision and Consequences

Choices

Finding myself along with a friend on the back of a cargo pickup truck, open to air.  We were situated near the tailgate; the rest of the truck was full of broken music equipment.  Seemed like he and I were in a conversation and the dream picked up in the middle of it with me leaning over to pick up an old white electronic acoustical guitar.  I noticed the strings were broken along with deep scraps, paint removed.  He spoke up and said, “That was Tom’s old guitar.”  I then replied, “It’s a shame it has come to this.”  As I continued to look at the damage and loss, I laid it back down.  At this moment the dream faded to another scene.

The next scene I am in a large room with a full wall of shelves.  There were instruments and clothing on the wall.  Lot of areas with nothing on them at all.  I would guess that the distance from one end of the shelves to the other was about twenty feet.    With my back to the shelves and wall, facing to the opposite of the room, in front of me was another friend of mind, Tim.  He was knelt, tying his boot laces.  I noticed he was in full Army fatigues.  While he was knelt, he looked up at me and said, “I had a dream last night, but I am not sure if it means anything.”  I spoke and insisted he tell me the dream.  He told me the dream, of which this was erased from my memory after waking up.  I spoke and said, “Sounds a lot like one decision will bring on four consecutive consequences.”

As Tim stood up, he said, “Maybe so.”  At that time Tom walked into the room in plain clothing.  He didn’t say anything to us, as we would think he would have at least said hello.  He proceeded to reach to a shelf that had a new, very expensive looking white guitar.  This guitar had gold strings and was embroidered with gold plates around all corners with a design.  I spoke up and said, “Looks a lot nicer than the last one!” As he was about to leave the room.  All Tom said was, “Yep.” Then walked out of the room with a bit of arrogance in his step.  The dream ended with both Tim and I standing side by side watching Tom leave the room.  I had a deep feeling of being forgotten.  Dream ended.
