While we (Acts2dreams.com) cannot be absolute on what any one dream may really mean, we will update this directory as we find revelation and inspiration in the context of the scriptures. We encourage the believer to always first seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, for he himself knows the depths and truths of God. If a dream is given by God, then God alone can give you the true meaning.

Note: Many times in a dream or vision a person may not be literally that person or groups. It is very common that a person may represent a general personality or even a good/evil entity.
Actor: If one is in the role of an actor, may be the passion of one’s life or if one is seeing an actor, maybe the desire to be that type of person.
Adulteress: A Jezebel spirit or spirit of perversion. Often leading to destruction, pain, hurt, emotional loss, and physical loss. Can be male or female.
Alien: Possible angel/demon. Context of dream/vision and role will determine this.
Archaeologist: Looking into the past for present clues or problems. Sometimes knowledge buried intentionally to be found out to resolve a present day mystery.
Architect / Builder: Symbolizes the ability to see what is not, but envision what will be. Wisdom.
Artist: Creative, skillful
Assassin / Mercenary: Bringer of death, seeks to destroy. Typically demonic. May represent a curse that is being placed upon one’s life.
Astronaut: Desire to visit heavenly places. Seeing the world from a large point of view.
Atheist: Without God, foolish, wise in mans understanding only.
Athlete / Champion: To be determined to finish a set goal, over achiever.
Attorney / Lawyer: To defend or assert knowledge of a present circumstance or debate.
Baby / Infant: Symbolic to a new beginning. May be literal to desiring children or the coming birth of a child.
Bandits / Robbers / Thieves: Demonic, group intended to steal from one’s life possession litter or figuratively. Plotters to take one’s joy, peace, life.
Boss / Superior / Business: Can be literal. Can be both good/evil. One who leads or guides oneself to accomplish a greater goal. Authority figure.
Bride: Literal or symbolic to the bride of Christ, end times.
Bridegroom: Literal or symbolic to the return of Christ, end times.
Brother / Sister / Kin: Family can be literal or symbolic in personality in a dream. Must be considered in context. Can be both good or evil in representation.
Caveman: Uncivil, unruly, no regard for others than self will.
Celebrity: Desire to be like or admiration for the character traits.
Cheerleader / Fans: Can either uplift or tear down. May represent the people one surrounds him or herself.
Chef / Cook: One who serves to another.
Chief: Leadership
Children: Blessing, joy, gift, God’s promise
Clown: If not in nightmare, may symbolize joy or happiness. If in nightmare may be demonic entity to distract or instill fear.
Cop / Police / Officer: Literal or symbolic to spiritual/earthly authority. Commissioned or set forth by God as an authority.
Corpse / Zombie: Death, judgement.
Convict / Prisoner: One whom is known to an evil doer. Possible direct spiritual enemy or demonic.
Counselor: Holy Spirit, One who is to help guide another.
Crazy / Mental / Insane: To be out of control or not of right mind may indicate demonic activity or inability to coupe with situation(s).
Creditor / Debt Collector: Curse coming to collect on debt (sin) committed. To curse another’s life.
Cross-Dresser: A double minded and unstable person. Possibly demonically influenced. Untrustworthy, perverted spirit.
Crowd: Condition of crowd is important to interpretation. Crowd is often the type of influence in one’s life.
Dentist: Be careful of the speech and words that proceed from one’s mouth. May need to work on what comes from one’s mouth in words.
Detective: To uncover truth, to determine the meaning behind a mystery. To be pursued by a detective means that the lie one is holding is about to be exposed.
Dictator / Narcissist: A very persuasive person or demonic spirit intended to get its way in any way it can. Often will influence others to weaken one’s spirit. Can be symbolic of a boss or domineering person in one’s life.
Disciple: A follower of Jesus Christ.
Doctor: To be a doctor in a dream may symbolize the desire to want to help others from harm. Symbolic to be helped from harm. May indicate a literal medical condition or fear.
Doppelganger: A clone or double of oneself is typically demonic being portraying as oneself to instill fear. This is not to be confused with watching a dream in a third person state, but to interact directly with what would seem as yourself.
Elderly: Knowledge, wisdom. May be a reflection of future or past.
Ethnic / Nationality: Research culture of specific person(s) nationality, origins. If observing a specific action, research the action in the nationality culture.
Ex: Ex-lover, Ex-Friend, etc: Regret or lack of closure. May expose love still active or hatred that needs confronted.
Exterminator: Person or being that will destroy either good/bad things in one’s life.
Family: Relationship status with those closest to you. May be literal.
Firefighter: Can be literal. May symbolize a peacemaker, one whom extinguishes turmoil, fights, feuds. Rescues one from a circumstance one cannot escape on their own accord.
Forest Ranger / D.N.R. : One who helps or protects natural order. May be a person(s) to guide one out of the wilderness.
Fortune Teller / Soothe Sayers: Demonic, witchcraft. May be a literal experience or a demonic influence that is attempting to direct one’s life or determined fate.
Friend: One whom will hold one up in times of need, a helper, care giver. Typically literal to friends in real life, however may more so represent the personality.
Giant: Typically demonic enemy that represents a specific power.
Grandchildren (See Children): The blessings of life, to be blessed.
Groom: Jesus awaiting his bride (church.) Possibly also some one may love and desires to be wedded to.
Guard: Protector, can be good or evil.
Guide: If good typically symbolized as the Holy Spirit or Angel. If bad, may be a familiar spirit, demonic, or witchcraft.
Gypsy: One who is nomadic, never settled, disorganized. Often represents demonic activity.
Harlot: Sexual perversion, rebellion, untruthful influence, seasonal sinful pleasure.
Heckler: Possibly demonic entity, one whom brings discouragement, shouts lies or condemnation.
Homeless / Bum: Literal. Possibly symbolic for poverty, without hope, need for love or hope. Outcast.
Janitor / Custodian: Typically one of great trust, cleans up what others leave behind. Secret keeper and truth finder.
Judge / Executioner: To bring closure, sentence a crime, carry out a means to an end. May hold the power to forgive and release.
Jury: To see judgment begin to pass.
Kidnapper: A thief, wanting to take something very close to one’s heart. May be literal to an experience of being kidnapped or fear of. Typically demonic.
King / Queen: Position of authority, place of authority in life or those around oneself. King may represent Jesus or God.
Knight: A protector, royal linage, one whom executes direct orders from a King.
Lifeguard: One whom over looks for the safety one is presently in. May represent a guarding angel.
Mailman / Postman: A messenger carrier. Message delivered can be good or evil in content, however the person (carrier) may be symbolic to a place, person, being.
Martial Artist / Boxer: One who is prepared to fight or defend.
Magician: Art of deception, typically a symbolic representation of a demonic entity. May indicate divination, witchcraft, or sorcery.
Man: Helper, for woman, possible symbolism for husband.
Mental: A figure who seems abnormal mentally, crazy, psychopathic may symbolize an out of control situation or demonic activity.
Military Ranks: Ex: General, Admiral, etc. Symbolizes high or low commands, superiority of given circumstance. May be further elaborated with branch of military.
Missionary: A carrier of God’s word. Worker of ministry.
Musician: Praise, worship.
Name: To see a name or names in a dream may mean for one to lift them up in intercessory prayer.
Native American / Indians: Worship of nature.
Nazi: A demonic force or oppression to destroy, take life away. Spiritual warfare.
Neighbor: How one treats a neighbor in a dream, likely reflects real life feelings.
Ninja / Special Forces: Good or evil, may be Godly or demonic. Assigned to kill or protect.
Nun: Consecrated to God, life of chastity.
Nurse: A helping aid, to sustain life.
Orphan: An alone person, abandoned, in need of love and hope.
Pallbearer: If being the role of a pallbearer in a dream, then it may symbolize the idea of carrying what is now dead in one’s life to its final resting place, to lay something or someone to rest. May be a premonition to someone dying or fear of dying.
Palm Reader: Demonic spirit, witchcraft, false hope and divination.
Paramedic: A rescuer in time of great need or health failure.
Parent: Authority, love, those whom are looking out for one’s well being.
Passenger / Friend: One whom is along for the journey, by one’s side.
Pastor / Priest: Can be literal or symbolic. Good or evil. May symbolize the whole of a church versus the individual.
Pharaoh: Hardened heart, pride, narcissistic person or spirit.
Pilot: To be a pilot in a dream would mean to desire to aspire to greater heights or goals. To see a pilot is to trust one greatly with getting one to a destination far above the ground or away from a situation.
Preacher / Shepard: One who speaks the message of God. If preacher is corrupt, may expose demonic activity happening in the circumstance. A preacher can be good or evil. A leader to guide the followers of Jesus.
Prince / Princess: Royalty, Authority, Jesus is known as the prince of peace and Satan as the prince of darkness. A princess is typically of a female nature, that which holds high standards.
Prisoner / Captured: Can be good or bad, sin can hold one captive in bondage as well as doing the will of God can be a prisoner.
Prostitute: Sinful, unclean, leads to death of ones soul.
Psychic / Witch: To dream of a psychic or witch would indicate heavy demonic influence in one’s life. Unless they are being shown to be exposed or to go to war with intercessory prayer.
Puppet: One whom is controlled by another, possibly even demonically controlled, possession.
Queen / King: High authority of group or kingdom that would dictate rule over the kingdoms matters. This can represent both side of the spiritual world as well as in the material world.
Rapist: Evil, demonic, one whom takes that is not theirs. Can be literal fear or revisiting a past traumatic experience. To be raped in a dream may is an indicator of demonic activity surrounding one’s life, with the exception of flashbacks due to an actual rape encounter.
Referee: One whom keeps order, may be similar to a judge, mediator.
Scientist: Symbolizes the ability to see beyond present circumstance. To research a problem, analyze, to search out.
Secretary: Hold the ability to find answers, lead one to answers, or set appointment to get to the answer needed.
Serial Killer / Murderer: Demonic, similar to assassin, is out to steal, kill, destroy one’s life with premeditated determination.
Servant / Maid: Humility, to serve, may be symbolic to a ministry.
Shepard / Physician / Pastor: Jesus and/or a person that loves, cares, guides one in life. May bring correction to imperfections, healing, and a counselor.

Super Hero / Comic Character: To dream of being a character may represent victory over a situation or inspiration to conquer a sin in one’s life.
Thugs / Gangsters / Mob / Pirate / Thief: Groups of Demons or demonically influenced people. Typically demons or people whom do not care or just hate you. Those that desire to steal joy, happiness from oneself.
Veteran: One whom is retired from warfare or is well experienced in warfare.
Virgin: Purity, bride of Christ, literal or metaphoric.
Voicemail/Answering Machine: A message missed however still an option to listen to before disregarding it.
Volunteer: Helper, self-less
Waiter / Waitress: Servant-hood, to serve.
Witch / Warlock / Sorcerer: A practice of magic, demonic.
Woman: Helper, for man, possible symbolism for wife.
Wrestler: To struggle between two powers, spiritual warfare.
