While we (Acts2dreams.com) cannot be absolute on what any one dream may really mean, we will update this directory as we find revelation and inspiration in the context of the scriptures. We encourage the believer to always first seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, for he himself knows the depths and truths of God. If a dream is given by God, then God alone can give you the true meaning.

Ammunition: See bow and arrow. This is the object from the force. Example, arrow, rock, bullet, etc. Low ammunition can indicate the preparedness or tire of battle.

Armor: Protection or condition of protection. May represent the strength of one’s spiritual walk.

Bow & Arrow / Dart: A concise weapon, typically pointed to specific problem or enemy. If from an enemy, it is to target a week point in one’s life. Similar to artillery. Arrows can be words being spoken in authority as well as literal. Bow is the force behind the arrow. Condition of bow and the arrow may indicate the authority one carries.

Branding Iron: Ownership of another or thing, to take ownership.

Artillery: If on the receiving end, the bombardment may represent the enemy attempting to weaken one’s spirit by gossip, slander, false accusations. Sending artillery is symbolic to prayer against the devil be it an individual or many. Typically related to delivery of words or material manifestations.

Axe: Similar to a sword, sharpness of axe is the sharpness of one’s understanding of the Word of God.

Belt: Truth, To hold together

Breastplate: Righteousness, To protect heart, to protect love, Priest breastplate represented judgement

Dagger / Knife: A close combat weapon, may be represent one whom will turn against oneself at a vulnerable time. May symbolize backbiting, gossip, malice, envy, etc.

Explosive / Rocket / Bomb: Depending on type, normally meant to take out large areas of people or things with minimum effort. This can symbolize a person or group of people, words, and/or actions.

Flamethrower: Hateful, powerful words being dispersed in a generalized direction.

Guns / Firearms: Modern depiction of a sword.

Helmet: Salvation, Protection from external influences, Condition of salvation, Protection of the mind

Laser: Very precise weapon, intended for accuracy of delivering a devastating blow on an enemy or oneself.

Shoes / Boot / Sandals: Peace, Journey, Condition of journey or peace, Ability/readiness to move in a direction

Shield: Faith, God’s favor, City of Jerusalem, Condition of faith or faithfulness, Protection

Staff / Rod: Protection, comfort, guide.

Saw: To take/cut down, possibly to create or destroy.

Slingshot: To use words with power and authority.

Scissor: Precision instrument to craft or cut. May symbolize the need to remove things from one’s life.

Spear: The tip of a spear may symbolize the sharp strong beginning of something new or an event to happen. May also represent the velocity of power of one’s words.

Sword: Word of God, Holy Spirit, War, Defense, Condition of knowledge of the Word of God. Also noted at double edged sword for the Word of God.

Whip: Symbolic for strong words, curse, to enslave. May be literal. Used to control.
