While we (Acts2dreams.com) cannot be absolute on what any one dream may really mean, we will update this directory as we find revelation and inspiration in the context of the scriptures. We encourage the believer to always first seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, for he himself knows the depths and truths of God. If a dream is given by God, then God alone can give you the true meaning.

For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them?
In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

Airport: Place before going to new destination. Sometimes a representation of a time of waiting.

Ark: To be escorted before a time of great destruction, safe harbor for a season.

Ark of the Covenant: God’s presence to be with and to travel with/ahead oneself. Can display God’s awesomeness and power. Pre-Christ covenant, promise.

Ambulance: To be taken or to give great help to another or persons. Depending on if one is a participant in the ambulance or if one is being taken by ambulance, this can be considered being helped or to help another to life.

Amusement Park: Place of entertainment, may represent a season of life depending on the atmosphere of the park. If nightmare, then its a depiction of a devil’s playground to lure one further into sin, if fun, then it may represent the freedom of life.

Arena/Auditorium: To be speaking from or to observe to. Depending on point of view, it may represent oneself confidence or witness to an event. Being behind the scenes or backstage could mean one is a integral part to a greater whole.

Armageddon: Valley of a great battle, ultimate fight of good and evil.

Armory: Good or evil, place of weapons storage. May symbolize the strength of an army respectively.

Asteroid: Symbolic of immanent destruction.

Attic/Barn/Storage: A place to store needed or forgotten memories, thoughts. May be similar to a basement or cellar. Condition of these places may directly represent one’s own oppression of memories or times forgotten.

Bakery/Kitchen: Place to prepare or to give life source, food, nourishment.

Bank: To keep or to give what is valuable. Secure value.

Banquet/Ballroom: To celebrate or to entertain achievement.

Bathroom / Restroom: Private area of one’s life, if dirty or clean may indicate the internal heart of a person. If privacy is invaded, then may indicate an outside force attempting to forcibly take something that does not belong to them from oneself.

Branches: Church or Body of Christ

Beach: To wonder, or consider a vision beyond what is seen. Awaiting an answer.

Bedroom: Place of rest, intimacy, solitude.

Bridge: A means to cross over what otherwise is impassible. A bridge can a representation of both natural and super-natural beings or objects.

Building: Environment and condition of buildings may elude to what one may face or be facing in spirit or natural world.

Cabin: Isolation, solitude. Sometimes a temporary place to rest, or take shelter.

Cage/Jail/Prison: Being in captivity for a crime or alleged crime. Sometimes represents the captivity of sin and others the bondage of running from God remaining in enemy hands.

Campground: A temporary place of contentment, rest, solitude.

Capital Building: Authority, Ruling place.

Car: Similar to all other means of transportation. Personal faster means of moving from place to place. Condition of car may represent condition of one’s soul. May represent a personal ministry or business.

Castle/Fortress: Spiritual stronghold, Authority, Defense.

Cave: A secret place, hiding place in time of desperation.

Cellar/Basement: Often a place of forgotten things. May represent hidden or out of sight fears, sins, etc.

Changing Room / Locker Room: A place to prepare for a change of season in one’s life.

Children’s Room: A room that may reflect life, or the loss of life depending on the condition of the room.

Church/Cathedral/Temple: Condition and time period may reflect current religious man-made beliefs or doctrine. Could represent the spiritual nature of a body of people.

City/Town: Environment and condition of city may elude to what one may face or be facing in spirit or natural world.

Closet: A place of solitude, prayer. Sometime a place of hiding sinful things.

Columns: Supports, may represent surrounding people, circumstances. Shape of columns may represent reliability of surrounding people or circumstances.

Condemned House: Past circumstances, lost in time, could be regret or moments one may wish to redeem. Also may reflect a spiritual environment, often demonic in nature. Could also be referenced as an abandoned house.

Construction Vehicles: Preparation to build or take away an area of one’s life. If demolition is occurring, then the removal of a season or time in one’s life is in order. If building or landscaping, a new season is approaching.

Court: To be judged or judging, maybe defending. Depending on point of view may reflect coming consequences to one’s actions or prophetic judgement to come.

Dam: To hold back from, possibly holding back a truth or a lie.

Death Row: Imminent judgement to be executed. Inescapable consequence.

Desert: A spiritually dead place with little life, often feeling of hopelessness and despair. May be a season of time in one’s walk with God.

Factory/Mass-Production: Place of repetition and labor. May feel stuck in a season of life in repeating patterns.

Farm: Place where produce is, if it is bountiful, then so may be one’s own life, otherwise if famish than one may be such in spirit as well.

Flowers: Symbols of life and death, love or lack of , Body of Christ’s fruitfulness of praise and worship

Foundation, structure, wood,etc: Condition of one’s fundamental thoughts or representation of a collective experience.

Forest: Unknown place in life, possibly representation of fear.

Frontline of War: To be at the frontline of a war or battle is to say one is witnessing a past, present, or future spiritual battle of a sort. This can be fear if related to real life warfare as in coming home from war and reliving battles.

Fountain: A place to refresh, receive life or to be given life.

Funeral Home: The end of a journey, or foreshadow of an end.

Gate: Type may elude to further detail of use. Typically a mean to pass through from one area to another. A barrier to separate what belongs where. Gates can be godly and demonic.

Garage: Place to repair, store, or possibly depart from a permanent structure or situation.

Garden/Ground/Vineyard: Possibly the inner reflection of one’s life as it currently is, may reflect another’s life as well.

Grassy Field: Often a beginning or a pause point in life. If field is green may mean prosperous or full of life, while if grass is dead it may mean present circumstances are dying or lifeless.

Graveyard / Cemetery: One may be living in regret, or fearful of death. Other possibilities is the loss of a loved one. Coming to terms with age or fear of aging. May also represent dead things that need to remain buried both figurative or literal.

Gym: A place to strengthen one’s core, possibly a need to strengthen one’s spirit. Also literal to body conditioning.

Hall/Hallway: Depending on the type of hall, it may reflect a forced choice or a necessary confrontation.

Heaven: Hope, life, promise. May be an beginning or end to a spiritual journey. Place of God’s glory, safety.

Hell: Despair, lifeless, no hope, an end without redemption. Absence of God.

Hedge: Protection, boundaries.

Hole / Pit: A trap or snare of sin.

Honey: Nourishment of the Word of God. Wisdom and knowledge.

Hospital: A place of healing or to be healed.

Hotel/Motel/Lodging: Temporary place between travels. Condition of place may elude to life surroundings and people associated with.

House/Mansion: Depending on shape and contents, could represent one’s own inward self reflection from a long term or short term perspective. What may be happening in the house or to the house may reflect literal life experiences.

House of Horror / Slaughter House: Possibly symbolism for the mental state of a person in torment. To be tormented by demons with fear and anxiety.

Island: Isolated area, may be for learning a specific thing or experience.

In Sky: If overseeing from the sky, floating, or other wise looking down to the earth below, this is a perspective in relation to what one may be seeing.

Jail/Prison: To be in captivity, captured. Sometimes references the result of the sinful nature. Other times being bound by demonic forces against one’s will. Lose of freedom or stability.

Kitchen: A place where substance is prepared for eating. Depending on the condition of the kitchen, may represent the inner spiritual food one is eating or not eating.

Library: Vast knowledge, seeking knowledge or wisdom.

Lilies: Symbol of Love

Lighthouse: To keep one from troubled places, a guide away from danger.

Marble Floors: Rich or royal walkways.

Maze/Labyrinth: Possibly confused with a path in life or wondering through a hardship. Being held captive by dark forces.

Marketplace: Depending on atmosphere and surroundings, this may be a resupply stop while on a long journey, or even to a negative point a place of distraction.

Marsh: A dead or dreary place. May symbolize death and grave.

Military Vehicles, Boats, Planes, Etc. : State of spiritual warfare, may represent either side opposing or defensive.

Mire / Quicksand: To be trapped in sin, over whelmed by situation.

Mirror / Looking Glass: Self examination, self reflection. To see another being than yourself in a mirror looking back at oneself is a demonic presence/attack.

Motorcycle: Free spirit, individual freedoms, independence.

Mountain/Hill: To overcome or have achieved great struggles. Type of mountain or hill may be symbolic to the difficulty of overcoming a situation.

Oasis: Refuge, rest in the middle of a barren place.

Ocean/Waves/Water: Depending on the condition of the environment this could represent peace or fear. The ocean can be unpredictable, thus so can life’s experiences. Sometimes water represents the Spirit of God. Bloody water represents war or famine.

Office: Place of executive decisions or authority.

Olive Branches: Peace, Prosperity, Wealth, Israel

Outer Space/Stars: To dream or explore, may represent feeling alone or abandoned.

Palm Branches: Rejoicing, Victory, Joy

Palm Tree: Righteousness, Beauty

Park/Recreational Area: Time of rest or leisure

Parts of Building: Conditions of objects vary the tone of interpretation.

Pit: A trap or entrapment setup by an enemy.

Planes: Typically symbolic for quickly moving from one place to another. Moving from one circumstance to another quickly. If plane is delayed or grounded, normally means there is something holding one back from destiny or other pre-flight situations need resolved before taking off. A plane crashing may mean a literal fear of planes or symbolic would be to loose control of a situation.

Pomegranate: Joy, Bride’s humility, Worn by priests into the holy place, sign of fruitfulness

Pool: Depending on water condition, may indicate the purity or lack of in ones life. May also indicate spiritual activity.

Pyramid: Height of power, world wealth and riches, not godly.

Ranger Station: Place of safety in a vast area. May represent a time of rest or shelter in the middle of a long journey.

River: Life, Peace, State of Life

Road/Highway: Depending on the type of road, it may represent the hardship or ease of a journey ahead, or the journey that was behind.

Rock/Stones: Christ and his believers, State of being, Foundation. Can be a spiritual stronghold.

Roof: Condition of roof may symbolize the protection one has from outside influences. A leaking roof can symbolize weakness, prolonging addressing a problem.

Rose of Sharon: Jesus, Our beloved

School/College: May be a time of learning, to gain knowledge or wisdom. Type of school may indicate level of learning, elementary would be considered beginning where as university would be advanced learning, etc.

Ship / Boat / Raft: Depending on type/use, this maybe to cross a great time in life or to relax for a season. If ship is sinking, then one may be dealing with sorrow or circumstances beyond one’s control. Lifeboat or lift raft may indicate safety from turmoil or trouble.

Sports Stadium: Place of entertainment, may be mindful of what is being entertained.

Stairs: Up or down, leads to unknown rooms, hallways. May represent conquering a fear or taking a step of faith into the unknown.

Stone/Rock/Earth: May represent the condition of one’s heart, or circumstances. Try to note the details of the stone, such as color, shape, size, etc.

Stream/Brook: Resting place or refreshment. Condition of the water is important to the interpretation.

Store/Mall: A place of opportunity to resupply. Choices of life.

Trees/Types:
– With fruit: Prosperity, life sustaining, selfless
– Without fruit: Cursed or baren, to be selfish, self centered
– With Leaves: Growing, maturing or is matured
– Without leaves: Tree may be out of season, dead, or otherwise useless.
– Seasonal Changes: Represents the coming or arrived changes in life.

Temple/Church: Place of worship, permanent structure or representation of outward acts of worship.

Tent: Temporary place to rest.

Theater/Movies: To be together with like minded people sharing interest.

Thorns / Brush / Rough Terrain: Sin, anxiety, life worries. Bad influences surrounding one’s life.

Training Camp / Boot Camp: Time of intense learning on specific skills.

Town/City: See villages, however a town or city typically is much larger than a village. Can be both a resting point or distraction depending on environment.

Train: To be escorted directly from a point of origin to a specific destination. Though many train stations are along the way, one may find that staying on course is the best solution.

Truck (General): Depending on type of truck, may represent the transport or deport of something from or to one’s life.

U.F.O. : May represent angelic visitors or someone one may not know as of yet.

Underground: If able to move freely, one may be experiencing solitude or not social. If buried in the ground, fear is in control of ones life to a point of death is your enemy. The exception to this is the fear of closed placed, claustrophobia.

Valley: Depending on condition of environment, a valley in is not always a bad situation. Valleys can represent a necessary journey from one high point to another. Often a proving ground, or a time of trials.

Village: To come to a village, one is on a journey, depending on the details of the village, this will often represent where one is in reflection to the heart of the journey.

Wall: Similar to a gate, keeping one place separate from another. Walls can be created by man and spiritual beings. Depending on nature of whom or what built it, will detail greatly the purpose of the wall.

Wagon: To carry from point to point. One’s wagon being full could mean life is either prosperous or over laden depending on the conditions in the environments.

War/Battlegrounds: Typically spiritual in content. Environment of the area will be elusive to one’s spiritual strength, victory, and/or defeat.

Well: A place to draw life from. If a well is empty, so the surrounding circumstances are empty too. If a well if full, then life if full. If a well is poisoned, then drinking from it knowingly is the same as acting on a sin or temptation. May represent one’s own heart or soul.

Wheat: Figurative to Christ, Word, Profession of believers, to be called apart

Vine: Jesus, Life giving, Main portion of greater body, Symbolizes nation of Israel, Spiritual Growth

Warehouse: May be ones collective conscience of thoughts, both hidden and open. Depending on condition of the building will be the condition of the collective experience.

Weeds: Unwanted desires, sin, wickedness. May be symbolic of people surrounding one’s life.

Windows: To vision, or wonder. If not able to see though, may represent a temporary block in ones ability to see past the situation they are in.

Wood/Dirt Floors: A common path or a traveled road.

Zoo: Depending if it is in chaos or organized, may reflect one’s condition of the heart or surrounding people in one’s life.
