Dream of Dove of War

Dove

At the time, I was brainstorming for a new picture to draw for the youth group project in my room.  It seemed like I had writers block for an artists.  I stopped and asked God to speak to me what he would like me to draw.  Instead, he had other intentions.  My natural eyes turned off and we took a trip that landed me about 100 feet in the air above my local church at the time.

Like an eagle hovering over the church looking in the distance I saw a very large white bird coming from the mountains across the valley.  I knew it had to be huge given the distance and the size it was already.  When it arrived I saw that it was likened to a dove only that it had a bit more of a tough appearance.  It was beautiful and yet scary all at the same time.  Its wing span had to have been at least as wide as a football field and the height was about the same with the fan of the tail.  His body was solid brilliant white with feathers that looked like defined muscle.  As his wings flapped in the air, it is a wonder how I was able to stay and watch given the amount wind and force it was exerting.  On his head rested red feathers that appeared to be like flames.  His eyes were piercing crystal blue, yet likened to fire.  There was anger in his look as he approached the church.

As he hovered over the front end of the church, he suddenly opened his foot to fully expose his pearly black talons. There were a total of three talons, two in the front and one in the back per foot.  He took that massive foot and drove it deeply into the front of the church and ripped it right off.  I could hear and see the wood and building materials ripping apart and the dove showed no struggle doing this.  Doing this only left the structure of the sanctuary.  All the administrative offices are now in his grasp.

As he held that part of the church in the air, a dark black void opened up in front of the church that stretched all the way down to the road.  The dove dropped the front end of the church into the void.  The void then closed up as though it was never there.

After seeing this, I looked up to the dove to see its expressions.  The anger turned to peace, and a single large tear fell from the dove’s right eye to the ground below.
